I make ambitious, story-led shows on location for broadcasters, brands and cultural organisations around the world.

Most podcasts are made in a studio. Mine mostly aren't. The work happens where the story is. I work end to end. Development, recording, editing, sound design, publishing. Usually all of them, usually on the same show.

## The work

I produce [Great Escapes](/great-escapes/) with Isy Suttie and Dan Skinner, the [Historic Scotland Podcast](/historic-scotland-podcast/) with Sarah MacGillivray, and the [Forestry England Podcast](/forestry-england-podcast/) with Bex Lindsay. 

At [Fun Kids](/fun-kids/), the UK's children's radio station, I make [The Week Junior Show](/the-week-junior-show/), [Activity Quest](/activity-quest/) and [Dino Quest](/dino-quest/).

In 2022, I produced [Mission Transmission](/mission-transmission/): the first radio programme ever beamed into deep space, as recognised by Guinness World Records, live from the Royal Observatory Greenwich.

I write [Mysteries of Science](/mysteries-of-science/) every month for The Week Junior Science+Nature, and handle external communications for the [Audio Academy](/audio-academy/).

## Away from the microphone

I build small things for the web. [alphaguess](/alphaguess/) is a daily word game with more than 300,000 monthly players. [weeknotes](/weeknotes/) is one note, once a week.
